Overview
GetTextLogo ("we", "our", "us") operates gettextlogo.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used and protected. We keep it short and plain.
Data we collect
Account data
When you create an account (email/password or Google OAuth) we store your name, email address, and a hashed password if applicable. Google sign-in only stores the profile information returned by Google (name, email, profile image URL).
Usage data
We store a record of each logo export you perform: the export format (SVG, PNG) and the timestamp. This is used to display your export history and to deduct credits.
Payment data
Payments are processed by Dodo Payments. We never see or store your card number. We receive a webhook event confirming a successful payment, which we use to credit your account. Dodo Payments' own privacy policy governs their handling of your payment data.
We send transactional emails (account verification, password reset, welcome) via Resend. We do not send marketing emails.
Uploaded files
If any file uploads occur they are stored in Backblaze B2 object storage. Logo designs are generated and processed entirely in your browser — we do not store your logo artwork on our servers.
How we use your data
- To create and manage your account.
- To track your credit balance and export history.
- To process payments and fulfil purchases.
- To send transactional emails you explicitly triggered (verification, reset).
- To investigate abuse or enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

Cookies & local storage
We use a session cookie set by Better Auth to keep you signed in. No tracking cookies are placed. Your logo design (fonts, text, colours) is saved to your browser's localStorage so your work persists between visits — this data never leaves your device.
Data retention
Your account and associated data are retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings, which permanently removes all stored personal data within 30 days. Export records and payment history may be retained for up to 7 years for legal and accounting obligations.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, or to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@gettextlogo.com.
EU/EEA residents have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
Security
Passwords are never stored in plain text. All data in transit is encrypted with TLS. We follow industry-standard practices to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password.
Children
GetTextLogo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
